Clinical study of rosiglitazone combined with metformin in the treatment of type 2 diabetes

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of rosiglitazone combined with metformin on type 2 diabetes.Methods Ninety patients were randomly divided into two groups,observation group received rosiglitazone combined with metformin; control group was given metformin.The efficacy of the two groups were compared.Results The FINS in the observation group were significantly lower than before (P ＜ 0.05),the difference was statistically significant.But FINS level in the control group had no significant difference (P ＞ O.05),FINS in the observation group and the control group had statistically significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Rosiglitazone combined with mefformin can play a good hypoglycemic effect.Rosiglitazone can not only lower blood glucose,but also decline the leve of FINS l.
