Abstract
Objective To study the clinical efficacy of Miligan-Morgan technique combined with hemorrhoid injection on mixed hemorrhoid. Methods The 96 patients of mixed hemorrhoid during 2010-2012 were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The control group was treated with Miligan-Morgan technique only while the experimental group was treated with hemorrhoid in addition. Results The experimental group had a significantly lower level of pain and hemorrhage than control group in time of 3-day,7-day,14-day after surgery (P<0.05).The experimental group had 46 cured and 2 excellence while the control group had 39 cured,8 excellence and 1 improved. The cure rate of experimental group (95.8%) was significantly higher than that of control group (81.3%) (P<0.05).Conclusions Miligan-Morgan technique combined with hemorrhoid injection can keep normal function of anus and has good effectiveness on mixed hemorrhoid. Key words: Miligan-Morgan technique; Hemorrhoid injection; Mixed hemorrhoid
