Orthotopic liver transplantation:a report of 15 cases

Abstract
Objective To Investigate the indications of surgical technique and perioperative management of orthotopic liver transplantation.Method Ofthotopie liver transplantation was successfully performed on 10 patients with advanced liver cirrhosis,2 with caloIis disese,and 3 with other advanced liver diseases.Results The recovery of liver graft function was good after the operation in 15 patients.Three cases died:one from tumor metastasis,2 from infection.The remaining 12 cases recovered well witbout complications.Conclusions Perfect SUrgical technique and perioperative management are key points for SucceSS of the liver transplantation.
