Research advances of relationship between depression and coronary heart disease

Coronary heart disease(CHD)and depression are both serious threat to human health, which are closely related to each other and aggravate the patients′ condition. In recent years, with the transformation of social medical model, depression and CHD have attracted more attention from domestic and abroad scholars. This review will focus on the harm effects of depression on the patients with CHD; the possible occurrence and development mechanism of depression to CHD, and the screening and the treatment of depression in patients with CHD.
