Abstract
Objective To observe the intrathoracic drainage tube combined with injection of sapylin, bleomycin in treating malignant pleural effusion of cancer. Methods Sixty-two patients with malignant tumor complicated with malignant pleural effusion were randomly divided into treatment group (33 cases) and control group (29 cases). Treatment group continued chest drainage tube indwelling drainage, intermittent pleural puncture tapping for control group. Results The effective rate of treatment group was 81.9%, significantly higher than the control group (51.7%) (P<0.01). Conclusions The internal thoracic drainage tube combined with injection of sapylin, bleomycin in treating malignant pleural effusion has remarkable effect and is safe and reliable. Key words: Thoracic negative pressure drainage; Sapylin; Bleomycin; Malignant pleural effusion
