Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention on sleep quality and postpartum hemorrhage for the parturients. Methods 100 cases were divided into the intervention group and the usual care group with 50 patients in each group by random. The usual care group received routine care and guidance, the nursing intervention group was given nursing intervention on the basis. Rate of postpartum hemorrhage, 24 h bleeding and Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI)score were compared. Results The rate of postpartum hemorrhage of the nursing intervention group was 6.0%,significantly lower than the usual care group; 24 h bleeding of the nursing intervention group was significantly lower than the usual care group; PSQI score of the nursing intervention group was significantly lower than the usual care group. Conclusions Nursing intervention plays an important role in reducing postpartum hemorrhage and improve the quality of sleep. Key words: Nursing intervention; Sleep quality; Postpartum hemorrhage
