Abstract
Objective To investigate the HPV infection and genotype distribution in female population in Guilin city, and provide reference basis for prevention and vaccine application of cervical cancer in this area. Methods A total of 3 790 woman cases who voluntarily accepted the cervical HPV genetic screening from May 2013 to May 2015 were analyzed. Results Among 3 790 cases, 883 cases were HPV positive, with the positive rate of 23.30%. The single high-risk HPV infection rate was 14.62%, the single low-risk HPV infection rate was 2.69%, the multiple HPV infection rate was 5.99%of which was mainly double infection. The difference of HPV infection rates among five age groups were statistically significant (χ2=41.66, P<0.05) , in which ≤20 years old group had the highest rate (39.08%) , followed by ≥51 years old group (27.34%) . Among the composition ratio of HPV type distribution, the most common high-risk HPV were HPV52, 16 and 58, and HPV81 (CP8304) , 6 and 11 appeared as the majority in low-risk HPV. The top five HPV genotypes were HPV52, 16, 58, 53 and 81 (CP8304) . Conclusions In Guilin city, the priority HPV infection is single high-risk HPV infection. Double infection is common in multiple HPV infection. Women ≤20 and ≥51 years old have the higher detection rates, and the top of genotype is HPV52. Key words: Papillomavirus infections; Genotyping; Disease control and prevention
