Abstract
Neisselqa gonorrhoeae is the pathogen of gonorrhea.Genotyping plays an important role in the development of N.gonorrhoeae vaccine as well as strategies for the prevention and control of gonorrhea.Common genetic methods for characterization of N.gonorrhoeae include opa typing, pulse field gel electrophoresis, por typing, random amplified polymorphic DNA,multi-locus sequence typing. The purpose of experiments and performance of typing methods should be considered in the design of typing strategies. This article briefly states the most commonly used methods in genotyping of N gonorrhoeae. Key words: Neisseria gonorrhoeae; Genes; Typing techniques
