Abstract
Objective To investigate correlation of plasma level of D-dimer and fibrinogen with therapeutic effect and prognosis of gastric cancer, and its diagnostic and therapeutic significance. Methods The present study included 300 patients suffering from gastric cancer and 40 normal adults. Results The D-dimer and fibrinogen levels were increased in the primary therapy group, metastasis group and relief group compared to that in the normal adult group. The D-dimer and fibrinogen levels were decreased in the relief group compared to that in primary therapy group and the metastasis group. Conclusion Plasma D-dimer and fibrinogen is closely related with the progression of gastric cancer patients, condition and prognosis. Key words: Gastric cancer; D-dimer; Fibrinogen; Prognosis
