Abstract
Objective To study the effects of fluoride on contents of MDA and the activities of SOD and GSH-Px in organism. Methods By means of subchronic animal experiment. Results In the fluoride-treated group:The contents of MDA in serum, liver, kidney and brain of rat increased significantly. The activitie s of SOD in blood, liver, kidney, heart and testis decreased significantly. The acti vities of GSH-Px in blood decreased strikingly. Conclusions The results showed that fluoride could induce lipid peroxidation and decrease the capacity of antioxidaase(SOD,GSH-Px).
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
