Abstract
Objective To study the effects of fluoride on contents of MDA and the activities of SOD and GSH Px in organism. Methods By means of subchronic animal experiment. Results In the fluoride treated group:The contents of MDA in serum, liver, kidney and brain of rat increased significantly. The activities of SOD in blood, liver, kidney, heart and testis decreased significantly. The activities of GSH Px in blood decreased strikingly. Conclusions The results showed that fluoride could induce lipid peroxidation and decrease the capacity of antioxidaase(SOD,GSH Px).
