Clinical observation of therapeutic effect of 5-Fluorouracil injection on verruca vulgaris and plantar warts

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of 5％ 5-Fluorouracil injection on verruca vulgaris and plantar warts.Methods Seventy patients with verruca vulgaris and plantar warts were randomly divided into two groups,36 patients were treated with 5％ 5-Fluorouracil,34 cases patients were treated with burning by electricion machine,the treatment course was 60 days.Results The effective rate was 91.67％ in treatment group and 64.70％ in the control group,there was significant difference between the two groups (P ＜ 0.05).The relapse rate was 13.89％ in treatment group,and 44.12％ in control group,there was significant difference(P ＜0.05).Conclusions 5-Fluorouracil injection is effective and has low relapse rate,small injure for verruca vulgaris and plantar warts.
