Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics, treatment and prognosis of conjunctival severe dysplasia localized cancer. Methods 7 cases of conjunctival severe dysplasia in patients with localized cancer based on postoperative pathological diagnosis were analyzed, followed up for 1~15 years, an average of 98 months, retrospectively. Results In 7 cases, 3 of them underwent partial resection of lesions, 4 cases of orbital contents enucleation. Postoperative local recurrence occured in 2 local lesion excision cases, secondary surgerg was taken (orbital contents enucleation), recurrence rate was 28.57% (2/7), no death case(0/7), no other part of the transfer. Conclusion Prevention of conjunctival severe atypical hyperplasia partial canceration was affected by many aspects, in cluding anatomic site, involving scope of the lesion, the first treatment, etc. Early diagnosis and choosing a best treatment are important to improve the quality of life, with good prognosis. Key words: Conjunctiva; Severe atypical hyperplasia; Carcinogenesis
