Abstract

Objective To study the principle of diagnosis and treatment of severe breast hyperplasic disease. Methods 166 cases of severe breast hyperplasic disease confirmed by pathology and operation, after medication and follow up of 1 to 5 years, were retrospectively analyzed. Results Pathology showed that 19 cases (11.4%) were severe atypical hyperplasic,28 cases (16.79%) moderate atypical hyperplasic,25 cases (15.06%) breast vessel dilation and epithelia abnormity,53 cases (31.92%) adenofibroma, 13 cases (7.83%) breast cancer in situ, 28 cases (16.87%) infiltrating breast cancer,of whom 5 patients underwent operation for lobular hyperplasia, and during 5 years of follow up,they were reoperated for breast cancer. Conclusion Breast hyperplasia has a malignant trend, being a precancerous change. Then the standard of diagnosis must be unified. The essential treatment measures and follow up systems must be strengthened.Timely surgery followed by pathological examination is recommended.
