Abstract
Objective To analyze the clinical distribution and drug resistance of pseudomonas aeruginosa and to provide some evidences for select antimicrobial drugs. Methods Strains were identified strictly according to the National Clinical Laboratory Operation Guides. The susceptibility was tested with K-B method and analyzed with WHONET 5.4 and SPSS 17.0 software. Results Pseudomonas aeruginosa mainly distributed at ICU,department of respiratory medicine, department of neurology. And most of the strains were obtained from sputum. The resistance rate of pseudomonas aeruginosa to amikacin, gentamicin, and moxifloxacin in our hospital was decreased markedly. The resistance rate to ciprofloxacin, imipenem, meropenem, ceftazidime, and cefepime showed a downward trend. Conclusions Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a common pathogenic bacteria at hospital, especially at ICU,the department of respiratory medicine, and department of neurology. The isolation rate of pseudomonas aeruginosa in sputum was the highest in all kinds of samples.Among these four years, the resistance rates of pseudomonas aeruginosa to most antimicrobial drugs showed a downward trend at our hospital. Key words: Pseudomonas aeruginosa; Clinical monitor; Drug resistance
