Abstract
Objective To explore the causes, clinical features, image features and prognosis of the patients with hemorrhagic infarction supervened in large area eerebral infarction. Methods One hundred and forty -eight eases with the large area cere-bral infarction were divided into hemorrhagie infaretian(HI) group and non-hemorrhagic infarction (NHI) group according to whether had hemorrhage after eerebral infarction and compared the causes, clinical features and prognosis between the two groups. Results The incidence and case fatality rate of cerebral embolism, especially in the atrial fibrilation' s cerebral infarc-tion in HI group was higher than NHI group. Conclusion The atrial fibrilation' s cerebral infarction is the most important cause of the HI as well as being the frequent cause of large area cerebral infarction. The earlier the HI oecurre, the worse the prognosis is. The prognosis of the hematoma is worse than non - hematoma in HI. The interference to the cause and combined therapy to the large cerebral infarction would reduce the incidence of the large area cerebral infarction and improve the prognosis. Key words: Large area eerebral infarction; Hemorrhagic infarction; Cause; Prognosis
