Effect of epidural anesthesia and spinal-epidural anesthesia on senile total hip arthroplasty and its effect on hemodynamics

Abstract

Objective To analyze the effect of epidural anesthesia and spinal-epidural anesthesia on senile total hip arthroplasty and its effect on hemodynamics. Methods Eighty-four elderly patients with senile total hiparthroplasty were selected from February 2013 to June 2016 according to the different methods of anesthesia, and they were divided into observation group (n=42) and control group (n=42). Spinal-epidural anesthesia was used in the observation group, and the control group was used epidural anesthesia. The HR, SBP, DBP, motor block onset time, sensory block onset time, motor block recovery time, sensory block recovery time and anesthesia effect of the two groups were compared. Results Five minutes after anesthesia, 30 min after anesthesia, the HR, SBP, DBP levels of the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the difference was significant (P 0.05). The onset time of motor block and the onset time of sensory block in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the recovery of motor block and sensory block were higher than that of the control group, the differences were significant (P< 0.05). The effect of observation group was better than that of control group, the difference was significant (P< 0.05). Conclusions Spinal-epidural anesthesia in senile total hip arthroplasty has quick effect, the effect of the blood flow dynamics is small, the anesthetic effect is better, and has a high value of popularization.
