Abstract
Objective To explore the serum level of C - reactive protein (CRP) in type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) with mi-crovascular disease. Methods We observed the serum CRP level in T2DM with or without mierovaseular disease and compared with the normal group. Results The serum CRP level were significant higher in T2DM with and without microvaseular disease than the normal group. (P 0.05). Conclusion Increase in CRP is closely correlate with microvaseular disease in T2DM, suggesting that CRP plays an importan role in risk prediction of the T2DM patients with mierovas-cular disease. Key words: Type 2 diabetes mellitns; Diabetic angiopathies; C- reactive protein
