Epidural Application of Ozone in the Treatment of Herpes Zoster Neuralgia

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the effect of epidural ozone in the treatment of herpes zoster neuralgia. Methods 80 patients with acute herpes zoster neuralgia were randomly divided into 2 groups, respectively,using the traditional treatment group( C group)and epidural ozone treatment group( E group), and recorded VAS before and after treatment. Results Comparing the results of the two groups, after treatment, the VAS of B group decreased significantly. Conclusion Application of epidural ozone is an effective method in treatment of herpes zoster neuralgia. Key words: Epidural; Ozone; Herpes zoster neuralgia
