Abstract
Objective To study the effects of different angles abutment Straumann implant system on anterior tooth implant and its effects on pink esthetic score (PES) of soft tissue. Methods Eighty patients who underwent anterior dental implant restoration in Dezhou People’s Hospital from June 2015 to April 2017 were selected as the study objects. The patients were divided into three groups: group A (0° abutment, 41 cases), group B (15° abutment, 28 cases), group C (20° abutment, 11 cases). The therapeutic effects of the three groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in the cumulative retention rate among group A (63/63), group B (36/37)and group C (20/21) after 6 months of treatment (P>0.05). But at 1 year after treatment, the cumulative retention rate in group A (100.00%) was significantly higher than that in group B (83.78%) and group C (80.95%), the differences were statistically significant (all P 0.05. There was no significant difference in the average annual bone resorption among group A (0.19±0.18), group B (0.21±0.15) and group C (0.18±0.17) at 1 year after peri-implant bone implantation (P>0.05). However, PES of soft tissue in group A (11.58±2.46, 11.73±3.24) were significantly higher than those in group B (10.31±2.23, 10.34±2.09) and group C (9.40±2.83, 9.31±2.32) at 6 months and 1 year after treatment, the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). Conclusions The treatment of 0° abutment implantation is more effective for anterior tooth restoration, with a higher accumulated retention rate in one year and a high PES index of soft tissue, which has a good clinical significance. Key words: Different angle abutment; Anterior dental implant restoration; Curative effect
