Abstract
Spomtrichosis is a subcutaneous infection caused by Sporothrix schenckii,a dimorphic fungus. No unified standard is available at present for in vitro susceptibility testing of dimorphie fungi.Ahhoush saturated solution of potassium iodide.itraconazole and terbinafine have been commonly used in the treatment of sporotrichosis for many years,it is still essential to choose appropriate antifungals. In vitro susceptibility test is not only an important means to the estimate of antifungal activity but also a basis for drug selection. Key words: Sporotrichosis; Sporotrix; Microbial sensitivity tests; Treatment
