Abstract

Delayed cerebral vasospasm is the leading cause of death in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage. A good in vivo animal model of cerebral vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage helps to understand the occurrence, development of this cerebral vasospasm, and the complicated and various pathophysiological mechanisms.
