Abstract
Cerebral vasospasm caused by subarachnoid hemorrhage is a major cause of poor prognosis, but the pathogenesy has not been understood completely until now.Therefore, establishing an ideal animal model of cerebral vasospasm following subarachnoid hemorrhage will have an enormous advanced effect on research of pathogenesy, clinical prevention and cure of cerebral vasospasm.However, there is still not an ideal model used for studying symptomatic cerebral vasospasm following subarachnoid hemorrhage.The author reviewed the advancement of different animal models of cerebral vasospasm.
