Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical application effect of phacoemulsification with Bigbag intraocular lens implantation in high myopia with cataract.Methods In 63 cases (94 eyes) of high myopia with cataract underwent phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation,group Bigbag compared with group Softec Ⅰ postoperative on visual acuity,best corrected visual acuity,refraction,intraocular pressure and complications of operation.Results The best corrected visual acuity and diopter had statistically significant difference (P <0.05) between two groups preoperatively,while the best corrected visual acuity and intraocular pressure had no significant difference (P >0.05) postoperatively.Group Bigbag patients after posterior capsular wrinkle,cystoid macular edema,retinal detachment was less compared with group Softec Ⅰ.Conclusions Bigbag intraocular lens implantation is a safe and effective treatment method for high myopia with cataract after phacoemulsification.Bigbag intraocular lens has a stable supporting role on posterior capsule,can significantly reduce postoperative complications especially the posterior capsular wrinkle and posterior capsule opacification,so that highly myopic patients can obtain better visual quality. Key words: Ultrasonic emulsification ; High myopia ; Bigbag intraocular lens ;
