Abstract

Correlations between kinematic variables and associative multiplicities of secondary particles are investigated in ..pi../sup -/C interactions at 5 GeV/c. The observed correlations between the kinematic variables of cumulative protons and the associative multiplicities of the secondary particles indicate a possible contribution of a two-nucleon correlation mechanism in the nucleus and of the color charge exchange mechanism in the production of cumulative particles.
