Abstract

Musculoskeletal pain is a frequent pediatric complaint, often of a non-specific nature. Pain can be located at any of the structures or components of the locomotor system. The causes of pain can be multiple: posttraumatic, inflammatory, infectious, degenerative or malignant. Differential diagnosis and the management of musculoskeletal pain in children are a challenge for the practitioner.
