Abstract
Metformin can effectively alleviate steatosis and improve the HepG2 function in cell model of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. The mechanism of metformin may be related to the reduction of oxidative stress injury, the regulation of protein expression related to mitochondrial apoptosis pathway and the inhibition of cell apoptosis.
