Abstract
A morphological study of the ethmoid bone on 27 specimens of 4-10-month-old human fetuses has been carried out. It has been revealed that the nasal septum, the cribriform lamina and the ethmoidal labyrinth are represented by the cartilaginous tissue. At the end of the fetal period foci of ossification appear and from 3 to 6 ethmoidal cells are clearly identified.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
