Abstract
New challenge of Management is to make sound workplace Environment that attract, keep and encourage its Employees. Today's workplace is different and persistently changing. The old relationship of boss/employee has been warped upside down. Employees are living in a rising economy and have lot of work opportunities. This mixture of factors has formed an environment where the companies need its employees more than the employee need the Company. Sound workplace environment lead to employees’ satisfaction which in turn helps to increase the productivity of the any Organization. The purpose of research work is to study analytically the workplace environment in IT companies and its impacts on the level of employee's motivation and succeeding performance. To analyse the workplace environment various factors are involved like Physical, Economic, Behavioural and Motivational. The importance of the systematic analysis of these factors becomes even more important in case of I. T. Sector. The paper is based on primary data collected through the standard questionnaire from the employees of IT Companies. The AHP method has been used as an alternative way to measure workplace-user satisfaction levels in the office. It provides comprehensive information about the impact of workplace environment on productivity.
