Abstract
Objective:To study the effect of shoulder support with rehabilitation training on shoulder pain in post-stroke hemiplegia.Methods:40 cases of post-stroke hemiplegia were divided into the observation group and the control group. The rehabilitation training was given to the control group and the shoulder support was added to the treatment group on the base of rehabilitation training.Visual analogue scale(VAS) and Fugl-Meyer(FM) upper limb function evaluation method were used to evaluate their curative effects. Results:VAS and FM scores after treatment in the two groups were significantly improved than before treatment. But the VAS and FM scores in the observation group was significantly higher than those in the control group. Conclusion:Rehabilitation training with shoulder support can be used as an effective method for treating shoulder pain in post-stroke hemiplegia.
