Impact of Oil and Gas Industry cluster on Innovation Ability of Regions

Abstract

The interactive between regional industry cluster and regional innovation ability is the powerful driving force for the regional economic sustainable development. Thus it is important to find out the relationships between these two factors. This paper examines the impact of oil and gas industry cluster on the innovation ability of regions and finds that an effective approach to build up Regional Innovation System based on the cluster characteristics of oil and gas industry.
