Abstract

This paper introduces the practice of hot charging of billets at Xingtai Iron and Steel Co ,Ltd A set of effective measures were adopted The practice of three months in 1997 has shown the advantages of this technology as follows:reasonable technological flows,lower investment,good hot charging ratio(60 %),satisfactory temperature of hot charging(in average 600 ℃)
