Abstract

Objective To observe the curative effect of self-made Qingxinningshen Decoction on insomnia. Method The patients with insomnia (n=62) were randomly divided into the treatment group (n=42) treated with Qingxinningshen Decoction orally, one decoction a day, and the control group (n=20) treated with Tianwangbuxin Pills orally, 8 pieces once and 3 times a day. Result After 3 weeks the total effective rate was 92.86% in the treatment group and 75.00% in the control group. There was a significant difference between two groups (P0.01). Conclusion Qingxinningshen Decoction has good curative effect for curing insomnia.
