Abstract
From the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Shanxi was in full fashion. No other merchants could compete with them in terms of number, scale and distribution. The thesis mainly discusses the characteristics of Shanxi merchants such as many pawns and many merchants, distributing extensively, tremendous strength, flexible management, strict and efficient administration.
