Abstract
Objective:To investigate surgical treatment of peripheral facial nerve paralysis as well the elements which affect the operation effect.Methods:Retrospectively analyzed 44 cases of peripheral facial nerve paralysis.Result:Thirty-six cases were followed up after surgical operation among the 44 cases.According to House-brackmann(H-B) facial nerve function scores,22 cases reached degreeⅠ-Ⅱ,10 cases reached degree Ⅲ-Ⅳ,and the total efficienty rate is 88.9%(22/36).Conclusion:Selective facial nerve decompression was an effective way in the treatment of peripheral facial nerve paralysis.
