Abstract
The quality accident of valve regulated lead acid(VRLA) battery caused by the non uniformity of performance can be avoided by improvingits performance uniformity. The improvement of VRLA performance uniformity is a systematic engineering. The methods to enhance and control the performance uniformity of VRLA are discussed from the point of view of technological control, including modifying the structural design, improving the processing technology, controlling and modifying the charge/discharge (formation) technology, controlling the raw materials strictly and maintaining VRLA battery reasonably.
