Abstract

Objective To investigate the therapeutic efficacy and nursing care of continuous veno-venous hemofiltration (CVVH) for patients with hepatorenal syndrome (HRS).Methods Totally 108 patients with HRS were given CVVH treatment. The changes of serum electrolytes,acid-base balance and renal function before and after treatment were observed, and nursing care for patients receiving CVVH treatment was discussed. Results The levels of serum kalium,CRE,BUN,UA and CO2-CP increased significantly, and complications such as severe electrolyte disturbance and metabolic acidosis were corrected after CVVH treatment. Conclusion CVVH can improve renal function and correct electrolyte disturbance and metabolic acidosis effectively in HRS pa-tients,maintaining a constant internal environment.Scientific nursing care for HRS patients receiving CVVH treatment can effective-ly improve the survival rate.
