Application of GIS in Integrated Traffic Information Platform

Abstract

The application of Geographic Information System (GIS) to integrated traffic information platform realized the visualization of traffic information management, and benefited to data mining of the traffic information and decision support of traffic management. According to the study on integrated traffic information platform (ITIP), the application target and fuction of GIS in ITIP were analyzed and confirmed, and its general structure was given and application of integration of GIS and data mining technique in ITIP were discussed.
