Abstract

The article explored the significance of the 179th clause of The Typhoid Theory,which is arranged on the first chapter in Yangming disease.The author does not think that it is the expression of the causes and sources.It is considered that it should belong to the classification of Yangming disease.According to the quantity of Yang heat,it will be divided into three categories:constipation due to spleen deficiency,constipation due to stomach excess and constipation due to stomach heat.
