Abstract
The kinetics of ultrasound dyeing was investigated based on the wool dyeing with acid blue green G, the results revealed that ultrasound dyeing featured not only higher dye uptake, lower energy consumption and production cost, but also accelerated dyeing rate and diffusion coefficient, and reduced activation energy. Therefore, wool dyeing at low temperature in short time is feasible from the view of technology and economics; it has a bright feature in dyeing industry.
