Abstract
C-band polymorphism in five tetraploid (2n=4x=28) wheat (Triticuin turgidum L.)landraces was studied. Qinghaifoshoumai,Gansufoshoumai,Wuzaolong,Jiutoumai and Heimangbaimai, which show C-band polymorphism on some chromosomes, share unusual terminal band on chromosome 2AL and 3131C-bands of Heimangbaimai on 2AL,6AL,1B, 2B, 3B, 6B and 7B are distinct from the others. Five landracesshow C-band diversity to AABB genome of common wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)on some chromosomes.
