Abstract
This paper researches the removal rate of formaldehyde gas in the air by high-purity chlorine dioxide gas, mainly investigating the efficiency of chlorine dioxide gas concentration, reaction time and initial concentration of formaldehyde gas on the removal rate of formaldehyde. The results show that: the removal rate of formaldehyde increases with the increase of the concentration of chlorine dioxide gas;when the initial concentration of formaldehyde gas at 2.4 mg/m3 and the concentration of chlorine dioxide gas at 1.8 mg/m3,the removal rate of formaldehyde can reach 99.5%;the removal rate of formaldehyde increases with the increase of the reaction time, but the removal rate is stabilized to 99.7% after 30 mins;and the removal rate of formaldehyde increases firstly and then decreases with the increase of the initial concentration of formaldehyde.
