The Application of Value Engineering in Project Selection

Abstract

Value engineering is a management technology as an effective method to lower cost and improve benefit. Based on the basic principle of value engineering, the author elaborates the application method and the process of value engineering in cost management of project. Systemic analysis and demonstration of application shows that the value engineering is an effective way in cost management of project. The author sets an example to explain the application of Value Engineering.
