Chromosome C-banding in Dimeracris prasina,a rare grasshopper from China

This paper deals with C-banding karyotype of Dimeracris prasina Niu et Zheng 1993,a rare and interesting grasshopper.The chromsome numbers of this species (paratype 1♂) is 2n=22+XO,all chromosomes are telocentric,the C-bands located mainly at the centromere regions and No.3 chromosomes have shown terminal C-bands,No.5 chromosomes have shown plentiful C-bands.
