Observation on the Effect of Insulin Glargine Combined with Acarbose in Treating Type II First Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract

Objective: To investigate the effect of insulin glargine combined with acarbose in treating type 2 first diabetes mellitus.Method: The 52 cases with type 2 first diabetes mellitus were divided into the observe group and the control group.The control group received the novolin treatment,and the observe group received the treatment of insulin glargine combined with acarbose.Result: The FBG and 2hPG in the observe group after treatment were superior to those in control group(P0.05).The time up to the standard and dosage of insulin in the observe group after treatment were superior to those in control group(P0.05).The hypoglycemia rate in the observe group after treatment was fewer than that in the control group(P0.05).There was no significant difference in the two groups.Conclusion: The effect of insulin glargine combined with acarbose in treating type 2 first diabetes is obvious,there's no side-effect,it is worth being used widely.
