Abstract
An orthogonal method is used to study the grafting copolymerization of bamboo fiber with acrylic acid by using potassium permanganate as an initiator. The test result shows that when the concentration of potassium permanganate is 7.5×10~ -3 mol/L,the concentration of acrylic acid is 2.67 mol/L,acid is 0.2 mol/L,pretreating temperature is 60℃,pretreating time is 10 min, reacting temperature is 50℃; as reacting time is 4h,the grafting rate is over 30%.Under the conditions of the same microwave system, the reacting period is 6h with grafting rate of 36%.The methods of FTIR and SEM analyses are used to characterize the product of copolymerization of bamboo fiber with acrylic acid.
