Abstract
Both callus induction frequency and differentiation ability of calli (green plants regeneration ability) were significantly influenced by the material genotype. However, the green plants regeneration ability of 94P-70 was rather higher than other materials, the second was Shanyougui 99. Other materials did not produce green plant. First generation (H_(1)) of pollen-plant showed wide range of characters variation. Some characters of many strains of the second generation (H_(2)) were relatively stable and better than that of the first generation (H_(1)); Comparatively, the second generation (H_(2)) revealed better agronomic characters than their parents but a few strain shows segregation. Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis analysis of peroxidase and esterase isoenzyme patterns of the H_(2) of pollen-plants were equal to that of the parents (relatively stable) but one strain of the second generation (95EH-19-5) was significantly different from that of the parents.
