Abstract
Using Chinese Spring wheat, Heshang wheat, Sizi wheat as materials, effects of nitrogen deficiency on content of chlorophyll and soluble protein, root-shoot ratio, photosynthetic rate(Pn), stomatal conductance(Gs), intercellular CO2(Ci)and transpiration rate(E) were studied. The results showed that content of chlorophyll and soluble protein, Pn, Gs and E in wheats were lower than that of CK under nitrogen deficiency. The root-shoot ratio and Ci of wheat seedling were higher than that of CK. It is indicated that nitrogen deficiency had some effects on biosynthesis of chlorophyll. The net photosynthetic rate(Pn) of wheat decreased significantly. Dry matter accumulation was reduced and root top ratio was increased.
