Abstract
With Wuyujing,9516,Kitaake,Zhendao 8 as test materials,the effects of iron deficiency on the chlorophyll content,the root-shoot ratio,the photosynthetic rate(Pn),stomatal conductance(Gs),intercellular CO2(Ci) and transpiration rate(E) were measured in this paper.The results showed that the chlorophyll content,Pn,Gs and E in rice decreased significantly along with iron deficiency.However,both the root-shoot ratio and Ci of rice seedling increased.Therefore,iron deficiency has some effects on chlorophyll biosynthesis.Iron is one of the necessary nutrients for rice growth.This experiment would provide theoretic basis and technical approaches for iron use.
