Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of combined total glucoside from peony(TGP) and small dose of poly-glycoside from Tripterygium wilfordii Hook.f in 90 patients with common psoriasis. Methods One hundred and eighty patients with common psoriasis were randomly divided into treatment group(n=90) and control group(n=90).Patients in treatment group received TGP and tablets of poly-glycoside from Tripterygium wilfordii Hook.f at a small dose and those in control group only administered tablets of poly-glycoside from Tripterygium wilfordii Hook.f at a small dose for 3 months. Then, routine blood and urine examinations were performed to detect their liver and kidney functions before and after treatment, and their adverse reactions were observed. Results The effective rate was 84.4% and 64.4% respectively for the treatment group and control group(P0.01).Conclusion Combined TGP and small dose of poly-glycoside from Tripterygium wilfordii Hook.f can achieve satisfactory therapeutic effects on common psoriasis, and is thus worthy to be applied in treatment of common psoriasis.
